When I was younger, my love for the outdoors and water started early. From duck hunting at a young age to surf fishing with my grandfather, I’ve always been drawn to the water and the woods. As I got older, my passion expanded—from creek fishing for sunnies and bass to chasing stripers in my late teens. I’d do whatever it took to get out there and make the most of every opportunity. Whether it was riding my bicycle to the creeks deep in the woods or fighting with a finicky 10-foot aluminum boat with a 1980s outboard motor I got for 50 dollars that would start almost never but never stopped me form yanking that pull cord until it broke, I was always determined to get to my spot , spent plenty of time dragging boats through marsh mud, I give a lot of credit to my dad who always pushed me to learn how to adapt, fix, and improvise—through that it shaped my passion for fishing and hunting in ways I can’t fully describe. Over the years, saltwater fishing became my focus, but one thing remained constant: outdoor apparel and hats were always a part of my wardrobe.
Creating a business was something I’d always dreamed of, and now, in my 30s, I’m proud to share my love for the outdoors through Eastern Tide Apparel. This brand is my way of blending style and my passion for hunting, fishing, and memories I hold dear. I am now passing that passion down to my son and daughter, and none of this would be possible without the support of my amazing wife, who has always pushed me to pursue what I love.
